Each pendant is made from sea glass that was collected on the North Shore beaches of Oahu. A local artisan then wraps each piece by hand with either 14K gold-filled or Argentium sterling silver wires, which are selected for their ability to resist tarnish. The gold-filled wire is made by heat- and pressure-bonding a thin layer of 14K gold to a brass core while the Argentium sterling silver wire is made of 93% silver (just like traditional sterling) combined with germanium.
